Musings of A Romance Junkie is a blog dedicated to showcasing and reviewing romance novels written specifically about black women coupled with men of all races and ethnicities. Here you will find new releases in African American romance, interracial romance, and multicultural romance, along with reviews of new and old books. I also feature interviews and spotlights as well as random musings.

Note: I tend to speak in AAVE (African-American Vernacular English). Some of you may call it ghetto. Some of you may call it slang. I say, Get yo life! AAVE is my language of choice, and yes, it is a language all it’s own (Google it, you might be surprised…) But don’t get it twisted, I can code switch at the drop of a dime…

This is not an outlet to bash black men (I am a black woman who loves black men and was fathered by a black man). This is my space to talk about black women and to showcase our beauty and show that men, and not just black men, find us intelligent, sexy, and desirable contrary to popular belief.
I will not tolerate ignorance of any kind on my blog. I encourage healthy dialogue and adult conversation, but this is not a forum to promote a racist or prejudiced agenda. After all, this is a blog about romance and love for shit’s sake…
